Hi, I’m Renee, a Statesville, NC–based photographer with over 40 years of passion behind the lens. My journey has carried me through portrait, fashion, and travel photography, and more recently into the intricate world of macro photography and the creative process of digitally painting my photographic images.
Wanderlust has fueled much of my work, taking me from the Great Wall of China to the Sahara Desert, where I’ve captured landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes across the globe. Each image reflects an open heart and a deep appreciation for the beauty and stories the world has to offer.
I believe that photography is more than documentation—it’s transformation. My goal is to create artwork that inspires and resonates, allowing personal stories of growth and authenticity to live within the art that fills our spaces.
I’ve served on the boards of several local camera clubs, am a member of Scott Kelby’s Inner Circle and the Adobe Creator Council, and actively participate in the Photographic Society of America. My work has been published in The Charlotte Observer and Creating Keepsakes magazine, and exhibited at the Southeast Center for Photography.
For me, photography is more than a profession—it’s a lifelong pursuit of connection, creativity, and inspiration. Thank you for visiting my page; I hope my work moves you as much as creating it has moved me.
