Hi, I'm Renee, and I've been passionate about photography for over 40 years. Throughout my journey, I've had the joy of exploring different genres, including portrait, fashion, and travel photography. Recently, I've delved into the fascinating world of macro photography, embracing its challenges and discovering the art of digitally painting my photographic images.
My wanderlust has taken me around the globe, with my camera always in hand. From the majestic landscapes to the serene seascapes and vibrant cityscapes, I've chased beauty from the Great Wall to the Sahara Desert. The spirit of my work is fueled by an open heart and a deep appreciation for the world around us.
I believe that our stories of personal growth and living authentically can be told through the art that adorns our personal spaces. That's why I focus on creating artwork that inspires. My goal is not just to document life through photos but to transform those moments into art.
I have served on the boards of several local camera clubs and am a member of Scott Kelby’s Inner Circle Advisory Board as well as the Adobe Creator Council. I actively participate in the Photographic Society of America, where I contribute as a judge for the Members' Individual Portrait Competition. My work has been exhibited at the Southeast Center for Photography, published in The Charlotte Observer, and featured in Creating Keepsakes magazine.
